The simple trick to clean your washing machine

To clean your washing machine easily, there is a simple and natural trick. You just need to run it empty for a few minutes. But before that, fill there with 1 liter of household white vinegar. Close the porthole and start a cycle at 90°C. The vinegar will come to clean the machine thoroughly and disinfect it. Be aware that below 90 °C, there is little chance that bacteria will die, so the temperature chosen is important. Carry out this cleaning once or twice a year on average to sanitize your machine and avoid limescale deposits, mold, the proliferation of bacteria, and especially the installation of bad odors. If all these elements settle in your machine, there is no doubt that they will be transferred to your clean clothes during the washing cycle.

How to clean the drum well?

For regular maintenance of the drum, the trick is the same. Soak a cloth in white vinegar and clean the walls of the drum to dislodge dirt, bacteria, and bad odors. It will only take you a few minutes and will easily chase away all those minor inconveniences that can damage your clothes. If there is stuck residue, you can add baking soda to your vinegar. Wait for it to foam and take the kind of formed dough to rub. You can start a vacuum cycle behind to rinse with water if you wish.

How to properly clean the laundry bin?

Often forgotten in the household, the laundry bin gets clogged very quickly. And for good reason, piles of liquid and powder detergent, fabric softener, and other laundry products pile up and stick inside. Most are removable, so feel free to remove them to put them in a basin, and wash them. You can simply wash them with a detergent product or household soap. If this is not enough, a mixture of boiling water and white vinegar should easily peel off all the products from your tank. All that remains is to dry it and put it back in its place.
