Three healthy recipes to enjoy spring inspired by Disney’s favorite characters

With the arrival of spring, The Walt Disney Company Latin America invites the public to prepare nutritious recipes inspired by some of its characters to inspire the choice of healthy habits in children.

A salad in Princess crowns, ice cream from Mickey and his friends, and a bowl of oatmeal from the Lion King are some of the simple and tasty recipes that can make eating times even more fun for the whole family during the spring.

Crown of Princesses with Salad


  • 120 gr. whole wheat flour
  • 120 gr. fine oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 20 gr. olive oil
  • 20 gr. sesame seeds
  • 10 gr. salt
  • 50 gr. red and yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 20 gr. arugula
  • 20 gr. peas
  • 80 gr. grated beetroot
  • 20 gr. purple cabbage
  • 20 gr. purple lettuce
  • 20 gr. broccoli
  • 30 gr. yellow corn
  • 15 gr. carrot
  • 5 gr. skim cream cheese

How to prepare princess crown with salad?

  1. For the dough: mix whole wheat flour, oatmeal, sesame, salt, olive oil, join well and add water little by little, leave 30 minutes in a refrigerator.
  2. Then stretch the dough, cut three wide strips of peaks in the shape of a crown and place on the cake rings with the help of aluminum foil, add dough at the base and bake 200° for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the three salads by mixing the ingredients.
  4. Once the cakes are cold, fill with each salad.
  5. Decorate with pieces of vegetables.

Ice Cream Mickey and His Friends

Fun is guaranteed with these delicious fruit popsicles inspired by @mickeyyamigos. Below, we share the recipe.


  • 120gr. of Natural Skim Yogurt
  • 100gr. of Blueberries
  • 100gr. of Mango
  • Water
  • 100 gr. of Strawberries
  • 100gr. of Blackberries
  • Watermelon, Mango, Strawberries, Pear, Blueberries, Green grapes to decorate

How to prepare Mickey and His Friends ice cream?

  1. Process or liquefy blueberries with yogurt, on the other hand, blackberries with water, strawberries with water, mango with water.
  2. Place in the molds the smoothies, Donald half mango half yogurt alone, Daisy half yogurt with blueberries and half yogurt alone, Minnie half blackberries half strawberries, Mickey half blackberries half strawberries, Pluto all mango, Goofy half mango half blackberries
  3. Freeze for 2 hours and then garnish with pieces of fruit dipping a little with water to adhere.

Zazu fruit oatmeal

For oats:

• 1/2 very ripe medium banana

• 2 cups unsused vanilla and almond milk

• 1/4 cup water

• 3/4 cup oatmeal

• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

• 2 tablespoons raisins

• 2 teaspoons ground flax seeds

• 1 tablespoon chia seeds

• 1 tablespoon almond butter

• 1 teaspoon honey

• 1 large red apple

• 2 fresh blueberries

• 1/4 cup black grapes, cut in half

How to prepare oatmeal from zazu fruits?

  1. In a medium pot, add the banana, almond milk, water, oatmeal and cinnamon and boil. Once it boils, reduce the heat to medium low and simmer uncovered for about 8 minutes. Stir frequently, crushing a piece of banana in the mixture.
  2. Add raisins, ground flax and chia seeds, almond butter and honey. Children can help with this part. Beat to combine, remove from heat and transfer to two bowls of shallow cereal.
  3. Have the children help cover each bowl of oatmeal with fruits to make them look like Zazu:

For the head: use a small slice of round apple

For the eyes: using a blueberry to make each eye

For the beak: cut a beak of the apple, place the side of the red skin upwards

For the body: use two round apple slices

For the legs: use two oval apple slices

For the neck: use a thin slice of apple

For wings: use several thin slices of apple and cover the ends with slices of black grape.

For the tail: use three long slices of apple

For feet: use black grape halves
